Tango Desktop Project (Tango Shell Patcher) The Order
The Tango Shell Patcher is a mostly self-explanatory graphical wizard designed to make integrating the Tango icon set into your system files as easy as installing any other piece of software. Likewise, it includes a reloader to re-Tangofy your system files if necessary, and an uninstaller to restore them to their original state. It is designed to work on all language versions and editions of Windows XP and Server 2003. 64-bit versions of Windows are NOT supported. If you are experiencing trouble with it, or just want to want to learn some useful tips and tricks, visit the Tips & Tricks section.
Important: After i install this pather, i can't entry my windowns, it says some system file is broken. Then i found out that the reason why is i choose the edit the boot screen, and this pather replace the original one, and the system can't run it. Maybe this is only my personnal problem, but it is a reminder here.

This is a Mod version, this one is better than the original. strongly recommend.

Nice icons! I really liked those icons from tango.
I have a question, and I'm taking a big chance you might help me out here. I want to use the tango icons as icons for a desktop application that I'm creating. But unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar on how to do it. Can I create my own custom designed icons? I'm using windows vista right now, and I don't know if it would be compatible...
Really appreciate any help you can give me. ^__^

unfortunately, i don't know how to make a desktop application, therefore i can not tell you how to use the icon on the application. maybe you can find a solution on the other place. sorry for that.
